Students here at La Sierra High School participate in all kinds of different fashion choices. Some students have taken interest by social media or just seeing other students with similar fashion. 

Clothing choices around campus range from tons of styles such as baggy or casual. Trends from middle school aren’t how they are now. What are fashion trends students see here on La Sierra campus?

“I mostly see like really baggy, or baggy cargo jeans,” Abril Andres (9) said.

Some students get their inspiration for fashion from online trends or from peers around them. Through influence, students style to their preferences or what they feel is best suited for them. Other than different trends on campus, what inspires students’ sense of fashion?

“My mom, like whenever I see her pictures of when she was in like high school and stuff, she would have like certain clothes on and we look exactly alike so I kinda dress how she did when she was in high school,” Lay’ani Taylor (12) said.

When it comes to fashion, students tend to stick to what they like. Most students find comfort in their own established style. If students could change their style, what fashion style would it be?

“Probably like a summer outfit. Maybe like, just like jeans or something like a short sleeve shirt,” Fidel De Avila Fuentes (9) said.

Most students seem to know what they prefer to wear, if not they are experimenting with their clothing. The trend to fit in with other trendy fashion styles spread throughout the school campus. Sometimes students go back to old trends of fashion as well.
