What did students do and learn on their field trip to Flabob Airport?
Students taking Conceptual Physics recently went on a field trip to Flabob Airport. I have asked student Victoria Anaya (11) to provide information about the trip.
Why did your class go there and what did you learn there?
“We went to Flabob Airport because our teacher wanted us to learn more about physics and stuff, like rockets. While I was there, I learned that the airport’s name is after the three first letters of the creators’ names. I thought it was pretty interesting,” Anaya said.
Describe what your class did there.
“On the field trip, we walked around to build our own rockets. We got to launch them up in the air and see them above us. We also saw the airplanes that were there,” Anaya said.
Tell me what your favorite part of the field trip was.
“My favorite part of the field trip was when we got to launch our rockets up. I built my rocket using paper and a pipe. It was all really awesome,” Anaya said.
