The Amazing Journey of the Class of 2024
As the Class of 2024 prepares to graduate, it’s important to reflect on the incredible journey of this group of outstanding individuals. Throughout their high school years, they have exhibited remarkable dedication and perseverance, leaving a lasting impact on their school and community.
This diverse and talented group has achieved a great deal, excelling not only in academics but also in various artistic endeavors. Their collective accomplishments and growth are truly inspiring, demonstrating the power of resilience and hard work.
The Class of 2024 has faced numerous challenges, celebrated numerous victories, and formed lasting friendships that have enriched their high school experience. Their ability to overcome obstacles and their unwavering determination are a testament to their character.
As a member of this exceptional cohort, I am proud to have witnessed each individual’s incredible resilience and tenacity. I firmly believe that these qualities will continue to propel the Class of 2024 forward as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.

It has been an absolute pleasure to have a Q&A session with students of the class of 2024, we have Brandon Avila.
Q. What is the most challenging task as a senior?
B. My greatest task struggle as a senior was my class Physics class Because Physics was never my strong suit and it was my least favorite class.
G. The most challenging task as a senior was getting up, getting work done, and also keeping up the work in general.
Q. What has been the biggest highlight of your senior year?
B. My main focus was my grades, wanted to get work done on time, and that I don’t fall behind.
G. The highlight was getting all the work done and also getting new friends.
Q. What memory will you remember forever about your time here at La Sierra High School?
B. My memory I will never forget and cherish forever is meeting the love of my life, my girlfriend she has given me the best life after all my struggles, and my little sweet bundle of sunshine has made my year better.
G. One time I will cherish was making my first friend in La Sierra, It’s hard when you are new but when you open up to those you are closer than you, we are like family now.
Q. who has given you the best advice? what did they say?
B. My Girlfriend, said ” No matter the cause I will always love you and not worry about those who fought you, I will be there to make you happy and reassured. If you or I have bad days we will always be there for each other.”
G. To be honest, it was my Spanish teacher Mrs. Bustamante, who told me “Never do anything dumb and keep going in your and do your absolute best.” That’s is what she told me.
Q. What would your reaction be when you walk on stage and get your diploma? Also, if you told your younger self one advice what would you say to them?
B. I would be nervous but happy to make it all 4 years of high school and make it to the real world. The second question would be, I am so happy for you and you should always be somebody that will treat you right and will love you so so much.
G. I would react it would be sarcastic or either be neutrally about walking onto the stage the second question I would tell my young self to keep going and never stop what you are wanting to do.
